Professional Development Days Coming to Childcare.

While the Province has yet to sign on to a childcare deal with the Federal Government, an agreement between both parties in 2021 saw an investment in recruitment, retention and training for childcare centres. While the planning is still ongoing, here is an article with a few more details on what is to come, from Global News. PD Days coming soon at daycares in many regions across Ontario Our Childcares may close for 2 days/year so that staff can participate in Professional Development opportunities. Advance notice will be provided of any closures, and of course no fees billed to families for any PD Days in our childcare programs.
