Kids & Us Community Childcare is looking for interested staff to join our Markdale West Kids & Us (206 Toronto St. S Markdale ON) team. Currently there are 2 positions available.
1 – Permanent RECE Program Staff
1 – Temporary Non-ECE Program Staff, 6 month contract but may lead to permanent if incumbent does not return.
The successful candidates must have childcare experience and reliable transportation to and from this location. The individual must be committed to collaborating with and contributing to the whole team to implement and support an early childhood program. Kids & Us is proud to be part of the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care Program.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities for young children.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the well-being and development of each child in the program.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall success of the childcare center.

Qualifications;
- Registered Early Childhood Educator or Ministry Equivalent with related childcare experience, Non ECE must have childcare experience
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to commencement of employment
- First Aid and WHMIS Certification
- Food Handlers Certification
