This week, the Province extended the Emergency Declaration until April 14th read full statement here, including the closure of licensed childcare centres.  In addition, the Province announced that all publicly funded schools will remain closed to students until May 4th. Read full statement here.  In addition to these announcements they cautioned that these are not definite dates, they will take direction from Public Health Officials, and further extensions may be required.

On March 22, 2020, the Province proposed exemptions to allow select child care centres to provide child care for healthcare and emergency services staff. At this time, Grey Bruce Public Health Medical Officer of Health does not endorse the opening of child care spaces. As such, all licensed child care centres and licensed home child care agencies in Grey County remain closed. At this point in time, all EarlyON programs will remain closed until further notice. We do not know when we will be able to reopen EarlyON programs. In the meantime, please follow our EarlyON Facebook pages for fun interactive programs to participate in while you are at home.

The message that is clear, we need to continue to do everything we can to flatten the curve!  Please, stay home if you can, practice physical distancing, and wash your hands. Together we will get through this, by staying apart.
