Chesley Kids Club is looking for a dynamic and flexible individual to provide personal support for a child in the After School Program, and for non-instructional days. This position is approximately 17.5 hours per week, plus PD Days during the school year and summer hours as needed to support the child’s need.
The successful candidate would provide one on one personal care assistance while encouraging the child’s independence to support successful participation in the after school program. This position will be available while the child remains in the program, and receipt of funding steams continue.
This position would be well suited to a DSW or PSW student or graduate. The candidate must be patient and knowledgeable, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience working with children is required. The position demands regular communication with program staff and the child’s family.
