We are committed to providing high quality licensed childcare in locations convenient to families across Southern Grey Bruce. We believe children are entitled to a safe warm and caring environment in which to grow and develop. We believe parents are the first and most important teachers in a child's life. We believe high quality childcare is a necessary family support and should be available to all families.

Facilities
Our not for profit childcare programs are offered in the following locations: Markdale, Osprey, Dundalk, Holstein, Durham and Paisley. All of our centres are licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education and are regulated by the Ontario Day Nurseries Act.

Most of our centres are located in local elementary schools increasing the convenience for parents. While each centre is distinct, they all offer large playgrounds in a setting that is bright, colourful and warm. All meals and snacks are prepared according to the Canadian Food Guide and we are a “peanut free” environment.

Centres are open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, throughout the year, with some exceptions. We are closed on all statutory holidays, Easter Monday and for those days between Christmas and New Years.

Programs
All of our programs are designed with the well-being of the whole child in mind. We strive to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of each individual child. The interests of the children are taken into consideration when activities are planned.

Our programs are “theme based play to learn”. We encourage flexibility in our programs which allows our teachers to capture those teachable moments when a child is exploring or experimenting with materials.

We offer a wide range of cognitive activities which include Jolly Phonics, Math and Me, Science Activities and School Readiness programs. Children enjoy an opportunity to be creative while developing small muscle control and eye to hand coordination.

For all of our programs, there are planned outdoor activities for approximately 2 hours per day, if weather permits.

Our programs are offered in a variety of formats including full day, half day, half day with lunch, before and after school, hourly, plus Nursery school and the Great Parent Break.

Each centre will offer all or some of the following programs so please check the specific location for the programs they offer.
